GIGO OR IN OTHERWORDS THE MEETING
It was nice to see Marty and Jon at the meeting. I hope you notice the dues message. We need your support and help. Although the life of the club may be limited we still have fun at the meetings.
Well the elections were held and since no one would volunteer to run for any office the same members graciously volunteered to continue in their current office. The current officers were re-elected to their current positions by voice vote. The club can use help finding speakers or someone who would like to show what they are doing in the Sinclair world or even in the "Big Blue" world. The newsletters still come in although not as well as a few years ago but there is still life in the kicking body.
Now we come to my announcement:
With the May issue of SMUG Bytes wili >
be the last issue. I am going to stop publishing the newsletter. I have been doing this for 9 years and the thrill is gone. I would like to see someone take over but no one wants to and I need a break. So goodby for now and any questions please write.
The Treasurer’s report showed we have still a viable treasury and will last a long time, at least till the end of the year.
The Secretary reported on the new QL like computer being generated in Europe. If you want to know more please contact Bud.
Hamfest Madison April 5,1992. Don’t miss it it’s a big one.
Sorry if I’m repeating but complain in a letter because I can print that.
